My daughter Ashley took to fly fishing like a fish takes to water.  We used to fish together a lot but she went away to college years ago and then her job obligations kept her from coming back to visit.  She just got a new job and was able to come home for a few days.  She hasn't fly fished for years but she was on it from the first cast!  Like riding a bicycle etc.  We did a couple of half-days on the Sac and she put the wood to some nice fish.  Book a trip and introduce your wife/daughter/girlfriend to fly fishing, she might like it!
