This last Saturday I wrapped up my Trinity season. I had the pleasure of guiding Nicholas and David on a beautiful day on the Trinity. We floated the Junction City area. Nicholas started out with a nice blue back steelhead in the first run. He managed to get several bites through the day and ending up 3 for 6 on adult steelhead and a couple half pounders. We lost a short battle with a pretty big fish that got us into some wood and game over. The river fished fairly good with no other boats on the water. The flows are scheduled to ramp up on the 16th for the spring flush. I will be guiding the Lower Sac and Tahoe area trout options now for spring and summer. Get out and play!
