Today was just amazing for my guests Geoff and Tom. After a tough day on the Trinity, we decided to fish the Sac and it was a great decision! The grab was spotty until about 11:00, then it really turned on and stayed consistent throughout the afternoon. The caddis hatch was nothing like I experienced on Wednesday, but there were some around with very few fish feeding on the surface. By the end of the day, Geoff and Tom both landed quite a few very nice fish. This was their first time fishing the Sac, but I’m pretty sure it won’t be their last.
