I had a really fun day with my long-time guest Dick, his son Matt, and Matt’s 9yo daughter Mackenzie, who was a pleasure to spend time with! We had a nasty north wind that not only made casting a challenge, but it also seemed to shut down the bite. Our grabs were pretty spread out, but fairly aggressive when it happened. Dick landed a couple smaller fish before hooking into a very nice fish that put up quite a battle before finally spitting the hook. Matt landed a very nice fish that capped off a really fun day. In just the past few days, the weather has changed, and it’s obvious fall has arrived.
