Peter Santley and I hosted a fun group of guys (and one gal) today on the Lower Sac. We got a very early start in an attempt to avoid the heat but also seemed to avoid the fish as well as the bite didn’t heat up until the temperature also heated up (go figure). The Sac has been a bit fickle lately but if you put in your time you will catch some beautiful wild rainbows, and maybe a sucker or squawfish if you’re really lucky. Don’t forget to bring your lightening quick hookset as that always helps!
