A buddy and I made a trip to the Trinity today to see what effect the recent rains had on the fishing. It had been pretty slow up there but today was a whole different story. The deluge we had last week made a huge difference. Flows are up, there is a bit of color in the water, but more importantly, there are a lot more fish and they are grabby! Most of our fish today were wild and were pretty acrobatic. More rain is on the way!
