Happy Thanksgiving!  Fall steelhead season didn't really exist in southern oregon, insead we had an endless summer.  Up until a few days ago, the typical day on the Rogue was a freezing cold morning followed by a cloudless sky and raging bright sun for the rest of the day.  We still managed to swing up some great fish, in relatively uncrowded conditions.  December could be really interesting, as I'm sure there are plenty of fish still waiting for a bump in the flows to make their way up river.
