Today was a great day swinging flies and casting dries with my guest George. Even with the flow bump this morning, the fish were super grabby right off the bat! George hooked into four fish in our first run before landing a small hatchery adult. He got grabs in every run he swung throughout the day, but the dry fly action was incredible. After some pretty epic battles, George was left empty handed after getting broken-off a couple times and getting the “middle fin” during some amazing aerial displays. Such a fun time of year fishing such a beautiful section of the Sac!
