The optimist inside me got the better of me this morning and we took a chance on the rain-swollen Lower Sac.  We did see two fish, but neither were attached to our lines - or anyone else's.  We saw a lot of mini-landslides, logs floating downstream, and large sidestreams gushing mud into the river.  I'm not sure how long it will be like this, but we're supposed to get a break from the rain for about 24 hours and that should help.  Stay tuned!
