The Lower Klamath is fishing good for Steelhead, flows are a tad low but water temps continue to drop and conditions overall are good, except the smoke, hard to hide from it anywhere !  We're catching a mix of adults, 4-8 lbs and 1/2 pounders, 1/2 lbers are providing most of the action right now. The conditions at the mouth are currently a little skinny so fresh Salmon and Steelhead continue to enter from the Pacific but in smaller pods. The weather is forecast to potentialy change a week out, to a wetter pattern, keep your fingers crossed.
