Klamath Basin: , by Dylan Woodrum: Williamson River Rport: 3 stars

May guest Ken Frank and I had an interesting couple of day on the Williamson this weekend. Saturday started off promising with frank landing a personal best trout that measured 22". The river fished well until about noon when we were assaulted by hail, rain and 30 mph gust that almost blew us off the water. Sunday was a little more pleasant. Ken landed a nice 20" Redband and lost one of the Larger fish I have ever seen on that river. All in all it was a good bite. Most fish came on nymphs this weekend. We should see our first good push of Lake fish entering the River in the coming weeks. Hexes should start coming off the last week of June and last through mid July.
