Fall River was a ghost town today!  Hard to believe for opening weekend, but we only saw about 5 or 6 boats.  Frank and Doug from Sacramento absolutely pillaged before lunch.  We landed lots of nice 15-17" rainbows and Doug lost one that was 20+.  Streamers on sinking lines worked well, but nymphs were hot for a while too.  The afternoon was slower.  We found a few pods of small fish.  Note to aspiring guides: try to catch the small fish in the morning and the big fish in the afternoon!
