Lower Sac: , by Andrew Harris: Great fishing: 4 stars

The Lower Sac fished great today.  I guided brothers Bruce & Roger from Virginia and Washington.  We fished up in Redding today.  The nymph grab was pretty good.  We had lots of nice fish on a variety of small mayfly nymphs patterns.  The dry fly fishing in the afternoon was outstanding!  The highlight of the day was when Bruce landed a 19" rainbow on a dry and Roger landed one about 18 1/2" on a dry fly just four casts later.  We had lots of quality rainbows to the net today on dries and nymphs.  There was a great mixed hatch of PMDs and callibaetis, all size 16 or so.
