Lower Sac: , by Andrew Harris: Dry fly action: 4 stars I guided Allen and Mike today from the Peninsula Fly Fishers club. They picked a really nice day to fish - the weather today was the best I've seen in weeks. The PMDs were hatching big-time by noon. We had some good nymph fishing in the morning and then fished dries from noon until about 5pm. We found a lot of good targets and fooled quite a few fish on dries. There were also some march browns on the water mid-afternoon. The PMDs are a size 16 and the march browns are a size 14. The river is still low and wading opportunities are endless.
