Floated the lower Applegate today with Randy Hamann.  The river is very high but still fishable in a few places.  We each had a couple of grabs and Randy lost a nice steelhead.  Only six more days before the Applegate closes, but the Rogue and South Umpqua should product steelhead well into April.
