The Trinity is cold, clear, and getting a little skinny. But it is the best venue to catch a steelhead along with the upper Rogue on the west coast right now. There are good numbers of fish in both rivers and fish are being caught every day on swung flies and nymphs. Work hard and cover alot of water and you'll get one sooner or later.
