Northern California: , by Andrew Harris: Browns chowing dries: 3 stars Check out these great photos of a brown trout eating a dry. There are some big mayflies hatching on Hat Creek in the evening. I'm not sure what they are, but the fish like them a lot. They're about a size 12 and dark, kind of like a small green drake.
