Northern California: , by Andrew Harris: Guide School #2: 3 stars Gino and I have a great group of aspiring guides in this year's 2nd guide school at Clearwater Lodge. We've already been to the Pit and Hat Creek and spent a day casting and learning entomology. Tomorrow we're back on the Pit River, which has been fishing well. We did well yesterday with prince nymphs, small pheasant tails, and micro mayflies. There are plenty of 9-12" fish plus some nice 15-17" fish, too.
