I had a great two days with the Lawson family recently. I fished with Bob, Barbara, and their daughter Shannon. We fished the Pit, Hat, and Fall rivers systems during our two day set. This was their second trip to Clearwater this summer and they are already planning to come back this fall. We had some memorable moments both fishing and wading. Barbara saw her backing twice on Fall river fish. Bob encountered a couple giants on the Pit which cost him a few flies. And Shannon filled in the gaps in one of our Hat Creek honey holes where she hooked and landed some nice trout and a giant sucker. I look forward to seeing them again soon at the lodge.
