We finally got some much needed rain here in Southland.  The rivers were getting quite low, and my farmer friends were getting bummed.  I finally had to fish something other than a dry fly the other day when the river I was on was running dirty.  Good results though...the conditions dictate the technique that will be most appropriate for success.  The river cleared up the next day though, and we hooked some great fish on drys again...so all is right in the world.
