Trinity River: , by Andrew Harris: Arctic steelheading: 3 stars We had a really fun day on the Trinity today. The fish actually ate flies despite air temps in the teens and twenties and water temps in the thirties. We had action during the warm hours of the day, from about 11am to 3:30pm. Jack and son Mark went four for five. Hey Mark, I'm sorry I dropped your fish out of the net before we got the photo! Chalk that one up to "guide error!" All of our fish today ate copper johns in various sizes and colors.
I have an opening this coming Monday Dec 14th - fishing should be even better after the storm that's due to come in Friday-Sunday.
