Trout fishing continues to be excellent around Clearwater Lodge.  Jay and I took our clients to Hat Creek in the morning.  After landing small fish on almost every cast in one area, we moved on to an area with bigger fish.  Clients Ed and Cliff both landed some very big Hat Creek wild rainbows on nymphs.  We spent the afternoon at Baum Lake, where the bite was very good also.  Ed mastered his roll cast and caught some fish on some very long drifts.  We had all of our venues to ourselves today.  The rivers are full of fish and devoid of anglers - come on up!
