Lower Sac: , by Andrew Harris: 3 stars The weather and the fishing were much better today on the Lower Sac. We floated from Anderson to the gravel bar. The river is steadily dropping and should be down to 4000cfs by the 18th. The river is a little off-color but in a good way. We found fish throughout the float, with most coming on a chartreuse Morrish hot-wire caddis sized 16. We got some fish on eggs and small mayfly nymphs also. Pat from Redlands caught his first five trout on a fly rod today.
