We fished lower down on the Lower Sac today and had a pretty good day.  The fishing was great in the morning on a variety of flies.  We had a rough patch after lunch, but then finished strong around 4pm.  There are very few boats out braving this heat wave.  We got an early start and that seemed to help.  Fish are eating small mayflies, tan poopahs, and red copper johns.
