Fishing was a bit tough today on the Lower Sac.  We landed five fish in a four-hour trip on five different flies.  The PMD hatch was really good and there were a lot of caddis around, too.  We're starting to get more fish on basic caddis patterns like birds nests and poopahs.  The river is in great shape - I'm sure fishing will improve every day so long as the flows remain steady.
