I was treated to some excellent fishing today by a client of mine named Mark.  I hooked about 5 carp between 6 and 12 pounds, landing 3.  I also landed two nice white catfish about 5 pounds.  The carp were really on the prowl feeding heavily.  The technique was high-sticking a nymph in the current.  I hadn't used my 8wt 9ft rod since my last bonefish trip - it was nice to get it out and put a big bend in it!
