I guided Cole on the Yuba river on Sunday.  There were no hatches all day on the river and fishing was definitely slow.  With the slow grab, Cole committed to  fishing nymphs without an indicator and was rewarded.  He worked really hard through a few of the best runs and pulled out 5 total fish with two of them being 16"+.  Way to go Cole.  Hopefully the weather will settle a little and we can get back to a few more consistent days on the Yuba!
