Fishing has been tough the past couple of days on the Fall, The stormy/unsettled weather this past week has seemed to have put both the insect activity and the fish in a bit of a funk.

 

The majority of the fish are still camped out in the upper river, upstream of circle 7 and the majority in Zug Bug and Spring Creek runs. Look for the fish to spread out over the coming weeks and fishing overall to improve.

 

Some of the best fishing of the year happens in June and July, highlighted by the Hex hatch ! When the Hex are happening we like to spread the fishing out over the Whole Day,  morning spinner fall or streamer bite followed by a mid morning to early afternoon hatch topped off with an afternoon Siesta and finely capped off with the evening Hex hatch !
