Today was my first day on Fall River this season.  The river is in great condition.  It looks more like mid-June than early May.  Weed beds are thick and well-established all the way down to Circle 7.  The fish are already pretty dispersed, too.  There was a good PMD hatch today.  We had a couple hours of pretty good fishing mid-day before the wind came up and made things more difficult.  We hooked some 18" fish on nymphs, dries, and streamers throughout the day.
