The Hat Creek Retreat is a two-story house with a deck upstairs and downstairs and a great yard and swimming pool.
You can walk right through the gate in the back yard and go fishing on Cassel Forebay.
The deck and back yard are ideal for relaxing and enjoying a nice evening meal.
Rates:
$200/night for two plus an additional $25/person up to six total. Plus 10% county lodging tax.
Special Offer:
Two nights accommodations for four plus an evening, full day and half-day guide trip.
Fish an evening session with your guide the evening you arrive, then a full day the next day, and a half-day the day you depart.
Guiding on any of the area fisheries. Any time of the week. Available from May through October.
Special Rate: $565 per person for a group of two.
Restrictions:
There is a two-night minimum and a 6-person maximum. Dogs OK.
Amenities:
Kitchen: The kitchen is well equipped and there is a gas grill on the deck overlooking the river.
Beds: In the upstairs bedroom there are two twin beds that can be converted into a king bed.
In the downstairs bedroom there are three twin beds, two of which can be converted into a king bed.
There is also a queen hide-a-bed in the living room downstairs.
Please let us know your sleeping arrangement preferences prior to arrival.
Internet: The house has DSL internet available over a wireless network.
Phone: The house has a land-line phone. Please use a calling card if
making any calls.

Go out the back gate, cross a trail and you are on Hat Creek.
Or, if you are in the mind for a beer in the afternoon or coffee in the morning go out the back door, sit down and look at Burney Mountain.
The House is "dog friendly", has a tight fenced yard, is superbly equipped, very comfortable and is as clean as an operating room.
Clearly, I like it and recommend it.
