Mike Peters has been guiding for twenty years. He started his guiding career on Hot Creek, the Owens, Crowley Lake, and other famous eastern Sierra waters. He's guided extensively in northern California and is a regular instructor at the guide school at Clearwater Lodge on the Pit River. Mike recently moved to Oregon to pursue his passion for steelheading. He guides the upper Rogue, Applegate, and south Umpqua Rivers during the winter months and focuses on the famous North Umpqua River in the summer and fall.
