Mike Bias started his guiding career in 1997 after attending the guide school at Clearwater House on Hat Creek. For years Mike was a regular on the American River, Yuba River, Feather River, and Lower Sac. In 2000 Mike began guiding in Idaho and Montana for Hyde Outfitters. He now lives in Dillon, working for the Big Hole River Foundation and guiding on the Madison, Big Hole and Beaverhead Rivers. Mike makes a homecoming each year in the fall and winter, where he is typically available on the Trinity River from mid-November through February.
