Jon Hazlett started his guiding career with a season at Rainbow King Lodge in Alaska, followed by three seasons at Elk Creek Lodge in Colorado. He then settled in his native state of Oregon and launched his “Jonny on the Spot” guide service in 2001. In the fall of 2006 Jon became one of the founders of Confluence Outfitters. Jon is an excellent spey caster and he loves to introduce clients to the joy of hooking a steelhead on the swing. Jon is licensed by the Coast Guard and fishes the Rogue River from his jet boat and raft. He also guides the Applegate River, Klamath River, Oregon's coastal rivers, Fall River, and the Trinity River. Jon lives in Medford, Oregon.
