Lower Sac Report by Ben Thompson

I have been chasing trout and steelhead almost every day over the past week and the rivers are kicking into spring mode. We have great weather over the next week and I am looking to fill the 17th, 18th and 19th. It is going to be 80 degrees in Redding on Sunday the 17th. Bugs are already hatching and we will see our typical springtime hatches with the nice warm steady weather.

Trinity River Report by DJ Spivey

While steelhead season may be entering what is considered its fourth quarter on the Trinity River it is not over yet! Bob Mike and I enjoyed the last two days floating it found success fishing multiple techniques! If your looking to try your luck at some beautiful steelhead before summer the time is now!

Trinity River Report by Luke Geraty

Tod and his son Conor came up to fish the Trinity with me and we got the full spectrum of weather. Rain started pretty early and at one point we had sleet and then snow falling on us as we kept casting and mending run after run. But with such beautiful water (steelhead green) and near perfect flows (1,000cfs), we were bound to find steelhead success! And we did! Both got a nice wild adult each and a handful of halfies too. Plus, Tod got a beautiful brownie to top the day off. The day ended with sunshine and we couldn't have been happier! This marks my last booked trip on the Trinity for the season, but I think there are still fresh fish to be found! If you wanna get out and fish, hit me up and let's talk dates. Steelheading offers rewards that are hard to capture in words but the payoff is priceless! Let's go! And great job, Tod and Conor! Way to stick 'em!
